Job description

BluLogix Local office in Jordan is looking to hire a Technical writer, this role requires someone confident in creating content, that communicates the business’s narrative and messages, whilst always in support of our marketing focus areas. Product descriptions, articles, social campaigns, messaging, digital copy, and branded content, are just some examples of the types of things this role will be involved in.

The ideal candidate has the technical knowledge, strong communication, and writing skills, and can effectively interact with, software developers, data scientists, project managers, and Team leads. We are looking for writers with experience making complex ideas understandable and are open to candidates with a background in software engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Produce high-quality documentation for web-based applications.
2. Publish Release Notes for our Cloud-delivered software for delivery to a broad group of internal and external customers/partners.
3. Produce how-tos, tutorials, user guides, and knowledge base content.
4. Write software documentation from technical specifications, discussions with developers, and hands-on experimentation.
5. Edit existing developer-written content in preparation for publication.
6. Integrate use case and functional data into user documentation and examples.
7. Collaborate with Development, QA, project manager, and other departments to plan, research, and write.
8. Test both the product and its documentation for accuracy and consistency.
9. regularly content management system (CMS) to manage the lifecycle of technical documentation including draft, review, and publish phases.
10. Develop detailed reporting that allows the Marketing Department to make content & social media posts.
11. Work closely with the sales team to ideate and execute upon high impact sales material that aids the sales team in both winning and renewing business
12. Write company articles, a weekly newspaper, the journey of customers.
13. Maximize the visibility of online content using effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies

Requirements:

1. Relevant university degree.
2. Must have at least 3 years of experience.
3. Must have strong written and oral communication.
4. Strong skills and experience in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
5. Strong analytical skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities.
6. Ability to think outside the box, blending a creative sensibility with commercial know-how.
7. Familiarity with the API documentation.
8. Attention to detail with a creative eye.
9. Passionate about learning and development.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives.
12. A proactive and open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results.
13. SaaS experience is preferred.
14. Experience with source control systems and workflow tools–Git, JIRA/Confluence – is preferred.
